At some point, you knew tennis star Caroline Wozniacki was going to be brought into the Chubby Chandler-Rory McIlroy management split.

Chandler has a slew of ideas as to why U.S Open winner McIlroy split from his International Sports Management agency and one of them has to do with the golfer's girlfriend.

"I don't know whether it was his girlfriend getting in his ear or someone else, but I thought we were doing a pretty good job, to be honest, and I think that's how the outside world saw it," Chandler told the Daily Mail.

Chandler was also mystified when McIlroy called him a "celebrity manager." Chandler had a run of major winners representing Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel, McIlroy and Darren Clarke. Ernie Els is also a client.
